The Abode home security system is not only an outstanding system for people who want to do it themselves but for any system on the market. I have been adding more & more components to my Abode for the past 3 years. The quality of their hardware including their video cams & software are exceptional considering their costs. This system has so much flexibility including optional monitoring if needed for short period of time. Extremely easy to set up & also change batteries of the sensors every few years. I would strongly recommend Abode for anyone considering a DIY home security system.
