Founded by Anthony Calderone in 1978, Illinois Alarm Service, Inc. in the State of Illinois licensed Private Alarm Contractor company that is still under his leadership today. In his professional life, Anthony has been instrumentally involved in many aspects of the alarm industry from developing a nationally recognized training program to serving as the President of the Illinois Electronic Security Association as well as Vice- President of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association now known as the Electronic Security Association. Anthony is a Certified Technician and Certified Training Instructor as well as a member of the Industry Advisory Committee for Underwriters Laboratories.

Anthony has received many industry awards throughout the years for his commitment and devotion to the electronic life safety industry most notable was being named Professional Alarm Technician of the year in 1988 by the NBFAA. Anthony has been quoted many times in print media including the Chicago Tribune as well as being a guest speaker for International Security Conferences and the National Crime Prevention Institute.
